That’s because those folks think that any single vessel hit by anything thrown at it from Iran equates to an Iranian victory.

I found this ancient version showing it's been ours forever. It's at least as authentic as anything coming out of the Iranian side of the talks.

But I thought Iran was winning and the blockade wasn’t hurting Iran?

Lower gas prices will occur soon and will remain low for a very long time as a result of the unstable ME actor(s) being removed!!

THAT is a sign that the blockade is working and working well...

It’s times like these we could use the expertise of a recently banned power poster. Thankfully, we have some prerecorded clips.

Why would they need to break a blockade when they totally control the straight according to them. This does nothing but confirm how effective the blockade is and they have now blinked. Keep pouring it on and also add missions related to cutting of overland routes to Afghanistan/China.

Only scenarios I can see where that could happen:
-China/Russia gives them some tech we haven’t had to deal with yet
-they fire off enough missiles and drones at us that we run out of munitions or do it as part of a giant attack that depletes our vessels before they can replenish
There’s no evidence so far they can hurt us but tempting fate isn’t exactly something that makes admirals happy when there isn’t a tangible strategic reward.

If the Iranian fleet is sitting on the sea bed, how exactly will they do this? Not like we don't have aviation assets all over there.

Apply that logic to the US.
Let's assume Iran killed the president, and all the members of congress etc.
Do you think the American people are going to elect or want someone to come into power that is kind to Iran, OR do you think the American people will want the most ruthless extremists they can find who will fight back?
And yet, the fantasy here is that the 93 million citizens of Iran are just going to welcome the US with open arms?

is exactly the same to begin with. Right?
you were saying something about logic..........

It's human nature.
But if you want to look at Iran specifically then an example of that happening was in 1979 with their revolution. In 1953 the US/British intelligence agencies overthrew their democratically elected government and installed a brutal dictator that would allow companies to keep taking the oil of the country.
The guy we installed would torture, kill and imprison anyone in their country. Ban political parties, etc. He did this with the backing of the US and everyone knew it.
The backlash to that was in 1979 when they have a revolution.
Now did they go for the most peaceful people? No, they replaced him with people who were very extreme towards the US and the people who had basically enslaved them for the previous 40 years. Our actions enable those types of reactions/leaders.
This idea you can bomb a population into loving you is ridiculous. The more you do to a people the more they are going to hate you and the more they will support the most extreme that fight back.
If you make money off wars, then this is exactly what you want. The banking cartels and the MIC absolutely love it.
