LOL, they're not the ones with control of the Strait. We are.

frick all of that. If that's actually the deal and Trump signs it, I'll lose all respect for him since it'll prove 100% of his rhetoric is empty. Hollow. Meaningless. Just words.

Anyone believing this obvious Iranian propaganda to their citizens to keep people behind them regardless of what happens is a fool

They'll be getting oil revenues plus assets being unfrozen

It sounds like they will get all of that before even negotiating on the nuclear material.

So…….. which I think is exactly what they had before the war.

Hopefully that report is bunk.

The 14-point document dictates that final negotiations will not begin until the release of half of Iran’s frozen funds, the suspension of Iran’s oil sanctions, and the lifting of the naval blockade, the Mehr News Agency reported. All American forces would need to withdraw from Iran, and the U.S. and its allies, would need to present reconstruction plans for Iran worth at least $300 billion, according to the report.

Sounds like an awful deal.

Pretty close to it.

That's what happens when you carpet bomb someone without a plan. Ultimately, it will still be cheaper than the years of pointless war it would take to continue this farce to anything resembling a conclusion.

So the big beautiful deal is to return things back to where they were before the war started and to pay for the damage we did?

This is even less believable than Donald's post yesterday.

Maybe this is it.

quote:

The memorandum of understanding that led to the cancellation of the US strike on Iran includes an Iranian commitment in principle to hand over uranium enriched beyond 3.75%, to forgo enrichment in the long term and to refrain from obtaining nuclear weapons, including through purchase.

the Strait of Hormuz will be opened fully and without restrictions upon the signing, and both sides are undertaking not to take military action against each other or against any other country in the region.

the clause that paved the way for progress was actually the economic one: a US willingness to release $12 billion to $15 billion for humanitarian needs, in several installments and under supervision through Qatar.

of the Strait of Hormuz is addressed in detail in the memorandum: The passage will be opened in full upon the signing, without restrictions and without fees, and Iran will be required to provide information on the mines it placed in the strait, or to clear them itself. In return, the US will move its naval vessels away from the area after the opening.

The memorandum further states that all of the parties' demands will be raised in the future negotiations: on the US side, limiting the missile program and support for terrorist organizations backed by Tehran; and on the Iranian side, the withdrawal of US forces from the Gulf, international guarantees for the deal and renewed management of passage through Hormuz.

Since this also includes lifting oil sanctions, not only are we not getting oil, we are opening the cash pipeline to the mullahs.

This sounds like a simple conditional ceasefire. They aren’t honest and future negotiations simply allows them more time.

Get ready for Taco for every day of the week. When is anyone ever gonna realize that the Iranians, with this regime, can never be trusted? We need to hunt down every last fricker in this government, and end them. Only then should we make a deal with a new government.

I did not.

But the quoted part certainly sounds like future negotiations are planned.

Meaning this could all change down the road.

It’s sounds like another conditional ceasefire

ETA: GM triggered person whoever you are. Filthy lib.
