Do you understand that if Trump escalates and Iran retaliates by taking out a desalination plant in Saudi or Qatar that 90% of their population will be without water?

What odds do you put on that even if they really really try?

Honest question

I think most say the number is very very small but let’s get you on record with what may be a dissenting view

How soon we forget. Iraq invaded Kuwait at one time. Who was their ally after that? If Iran blows up just one of those targets, the entire mid east will galvanize, and we will just provide air support for THEIR ground troops. It will end up looking like the liberation of Paris.

I hope they attack the Saudis. Gloves seriously come off if that happens. Dead Shah's son will be Iran's head of state in a blink of an eye.

The Saudis are absolute bitches. They aren’t invading Iran

The other countries don’t have real armies. They just buy fancy, high-end US aircraft that they barely know how to operate.

Saudi Arabia can't even win a war against Houthis in Yemen and they are going to launch a ground invasion into Iran?

And if that happens then every single one of their neighboring countries that are hit should mobilize their military and invade immediately. Their boots on the ground and our air cover and intelligence. Maybe this will motivate them to get their hands dirty and dispose of their terrorist neighbor once and for all.

There is a part of me that hopes they actually have the balls and the capability to start down that list.

What part of you is that? Is it the you're a terrorist sympathizer part or the you want Iran to FAFO part?

Why do you always bitch about Trump? I’ve never seen you give him credit for anything. You’re among the top 5 worst TDS offenders on this board. Hope you grow up soon.

KSA has a mediocre military. They aren’t as efficient as people think they are

I don’t know how accurate this data is:
quote:

Iran's military has approximately 610,000 active-duty personnel, with an additional 350,000 in reserve, bringing the total military manpower to about 960,000.

quote:

Islamic Republic of Iran Army (Artesh): Approximately 350,000 active personnel.

Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (SEPAH): About 190,000 active personnel.

Naval and Air Forces: Around 50,000 personnel.

The second one

It galvanizes the ME. It allows the US to accomplish all our objectives without doing anything more than we are already doing

My only hesitation is the infrastructure damage that will occur to Iran

Seems like some of these other countries might want to think about putting troops on the ground and eliminate this regime

Does anyone think this through? Are they planning on launching an amphibious assault? Going through Iraq? How are they going to supply their troops in Iran, a country with a significant advantage in ground forces in a defensive position?
