Always a good strategy to tweet out your military plans online.

Thats BS. No way they risk missing off the rest of the ME. This will push the ME to unify and take them out

I don’t believe that would be in their best interests. I think Trump is just looking for an excuse to go to war at this point with the way they’ve embarrassed him by continually breaking cease fires and walking away from negotiations.

Trump needs to take the handcuffs off Israel and let it pursue its plans for regime change. Best way out of this.

We’ve supposedly knocked out their air force and navy and a whole bunch of other shite and they haven’t surrendered yet. That was one of two critical errors - A. Thinking the IRGC would just give up and quit and B. That the Iranian people would overthrow the government.

I can't disagree with either of those points. Modern warfare has somehow migrated to the philosophy of "fight until the enemy is willing to negotiate" instead of "fight until the enemy surrenders unconditionally." Neither philosophy works in the ME if you are constantly extending the olive branch of offering to negotiate before they do (they see that as the weakness of not being committed enough).

To what extent is Israel handcuffed?

Its not like Israel would be planning a ground invasion if Trump wasn’t holding Bibi back. The last few months have shown there’s only so much that can be done without targeting civilian infrastructure (power supply and bridges) or sending in a large scale ground force.

With the ME you're both fighting a nation as well as their God. Same case in Japan, in a way. You have to force them into unconditional surrender. You can even occupy an entire country for a decade but if they aren't demoralized, it'll just go on forever

This isn’t the “modern” way of warfare. This is how warfare has been for the majority of human history with very few exceptions.

It’s looking more like Iran is just trying to lure us into a ground war. It’s hard to fathom this thing NOT escalating to a point where we have to install ground troops

Since you hate America, if they do go through with it, will you be cheering for Iran?

Why?

What makes you think that there is a need?

I have repeatedly posted about how Iran is teetering on edge of being a failed state due MAINLY to internal issues.
