It’s hard to fathom this thing NOT escalating to a point where we have to install ground troops
Why?
What makes you think that there is a need?
I have repeatedly posted about how Iran is teetering on edge of being a failed state due MAINLY to internal issues.

Not sure where your info is coming from but Iran has carried out strikes that have killed US soldiers and launched some attacks into other countries. The Strait continues to be a problem.
How do we effect regime change without human soldiers going to to the capital and taking over?

No we are not sending ground troops…. Our strategy is obvious
First Eliminate ability to have Nukes short term
Second eliminate eliminate ability to restart nuke program , which entail the items below
Modern Day Siege
1 degrade their military to fecklessness
2 economic blockade
3 cut off supply lines
4 isolate from the rest of the world
5 create economic and functional collapse
Iran has added to the above by attacking ALL their neighbors . Now the rest of the ME wants the end to IRGC and the end of Ideologue control of IRAN

In similar, but unrelated news, I've finally convinced the fire ants in my yard to just build one big mound.

Are those not sufficient?

Does not = a ground troop invasion

Their power grid relies on gas. That has been severely damaged.
They have MAJOR water shortages (to the point to where BEFORE this conflict, they were thinking about moving their capital from Tehran…and it has actually gotten worse since then).
They have different ethnic groups on the inside edges of the country that the Iranians have used intimidation and violence to control. On the other side of the border are those same ethnic groups, but in larger numbers.
Not everyone in Iran is Shia. That is yet another fracture.
I would suspect that their military is probably demoralized.
Lastly, their economy is in free fall.
This is a veritable siege, and Iran is running out of options…and time.
That is my assessment.

I thought Iran had no military left ?
Haven’t we defeated them 12 times now?

Well no. None of the above gives us any insight into the actual situation in the area.
Quick questions- have you ever been to Iran, the strait of Hormuz or even the Middle East?

These frickers are shooting missiles and have no military. just think how bad arse they would be if they had one.

Where is the invasion?

That’s somewhat helpful. What were the circumstances of your time there?
And did you expect that this would be still going on 5 months ago?

Military.

No.
That being said, I am comfortable reiterating the “siege” narrative.
Iran had major issues in place prior to this conflict.
I would imagine that already really bad circumstances have been greatly exacerbated.
Based on what I know, time is simply not on their side (at all).
The downside is that those in power there may act out in desperation. That being said, I don’t see that ending well for them. My take, they are being slow boiled, and we are approaching 212 degrees.
Again, that’s just my .02.

So if you thought this would be over sooner and now you’re saying that Iran is on the verge of collapse, why are you correct now ?

This entire narrative is a falsehood.
Iran can fire 2-3 missiles per day from their dwindling stockpile. But you would think based on the news that this was hundreds of attacks. It is not.
But the propaganda blows it up to the point where retards will say stupid stuff like "Iran is winning".
Don't fall for it.
