This ^^^^ was the only true measure of meaningful success. If the Islamic Regime remains in control of Iran after US military operations conclude Iran will still be a radical Islamic nation with an even bigger score to settle.
The goal of denying Iran a nuclear weapon can only be met if the Islamic Regime is toppled and a more secular government that's friendly to the West takes power, a government who will agree to US terms to end hostilities.
