He's not the worst but he is pretty bad. I guess he and MAGA found out what happens when you try to change everything. Things were always broke but Trump is on the verge of breaking them beyond repair. Give the man credit. He tried. He at least tried harder than any President in a LONG time. My God, do we need a Teddy Roosevelt right about now.

I lived in Saudi long time. The current crop of young Saudi’s are soft pussies. Many just get a govt check each month and don’t do much other than drown in petro dollars. Many have never done a days work and or earned one riyal on their own.

Having said that, most of the Saudis are fine folks. They just live in a house made of oil that they had nothing to do with creating. As Obama would say, “they didn’t build that oil patch”.

Americans developed the oil fields, Filipinos did all the tech jobs, welding etc.., Pakis did all the accounting, while Saudis did the grunt work.

Unfortunately they WON’T take on Iran or Houthi’s.

I wouldn't say the worst but contributing to the never ending ME shite show with an ill-advised military entanglement with Iran certainly diminishes his legacy. Was the West and Islam eventually going to clash? Yes, but I think the timing was terrible. Trump 2.0 had one job above all others, secure the homeland from those inside the US who seek to destroy the constitutional republic.

All Trump had to do was stay laser focused on domestic policies (specifically, crushing the enemies from within) and minimize any foreign policy gaffes and I think the US is likely in a prolong period of stability and prosperity. Whether the Rs hold Congress or the Democratic Socialists regain power, the midterms are poised to set the table for some very interesting times.

No one can legitimately be this slow, can they?

The Gulf countries won't allow Iran to control what effects all of them, much less what the US will do with regards to ships trying to make their way through an American blockade.

"not a damn thing America can do about it?"

Wow...that comment demonstrates a level of stupidity about our military that may be unparalleled.

Who let the Iraqi Minister of Information on to the internet?

Teump said we obliterated their nuclear capability in June 2025

I won’t believe anything he says from now on with respect to the Iranian situation

Why he hasn't busted out the Trump Dance yet on Iran is beyond me.

Near zero chance of ground invasion.

I will disagree here. If Trump wins or loses Congress without a deal with Iran, I think there is greater likelihood that he will call for boots on the ground. And, even if he doesn't put them on the ground, he will wait until the rats come out of their holes, call in the planes, and they will be looking for new leaders again.

what's the story on the main page today?

Libs get the email that their DSA candidates are screwing them for Nov?

I sense a real talk point pattern to all the threads being started.

These "discussions" allegedly taking place during the current "ceasefire" are NOT going to work with demands that the Straight be relinquished by the Iranians.

To concede the Straight means they take an "L". They are NOT willing to take the L by conceding. Stop the fantasy in your mind that "might makes right".

I'm just a realist in all of this. I love some of the optimism, but damn!
