Japan is certainly higher averages than the US. This map has issues.

Correct. The whole Iran claim is pretty dubious as well. I've met plenty of Iranian Americans and every last one of them is significantly smarter than OP and Lake Chuck. Their population in general isn't necessarily that bright but the brightest among them are very competent.

I may be wrong but I don't believe that IQ is a measure of education. I work with a Chinese customer and they are "educated" but can't think outside the lines at all. If it's not explicitly written down, they will not do it. Zero ability to go off script or adapt to changes on the fly.
