Two reasons...

1. I don't trust women. I don't care how conservative they are. They change.

2. I would love to see the Dems question him on TV. He would eat them for lunch. It would be a slaughter.

Save Cruz for one of the retiring Justices in Trump’s second term.

2 scoops
2 terms
5 SC Justices

Women make decisions based on emotion and the older they get, the more emotion drives that process. I have some concerns about her flipping on some issues, although there is nothing in her previous rulings that indicates this. She was a student of Scalia.

I like it

Or put a Paul there.

Does a SCOTUS require a law degree?

He would be a fantastic choice, but I don’t think he wants it. He has been very clear in saying he wants Mike Lee as the next justice. Cruz is probably who I’d trust the most regarding who to nominate.

I’d prefer a judge over a career politician... that goes for both parties.

It's sad how many times this has to be said.

Ginsberg was a judge, not a career politician.

I don’t think the timing is right for Cruz. Maybe during Trump’s 2nd term.

No fallout for making a white dude's life living hell for not being woke. Nominate a female.

Cruz got all butthurt when The Boat asked him about that in person in 2016

It's not going to be him

Of Cruz is the nominee, does he have to recuse himself from voting, which would be 1 less vote?

It'll have to be.

I don't see a SCOTUS nomination getting through before Nov.

I could be wrong but...less than 60 days?
