First of they are not "trying" to step in they have stepped in to save federal property and the employees working there. Somehow trapping people inside then setting the buildings on fire is not an appealing solution.

What are your feelings BTW, concerning Lincoln "stepping in" to save he union and what is now America from states rights back about 160 years ago.

The problem is the precedent set for the next dem president but then again they pay no attention whatsoever to precedent anyway and make up shite to justify whatever they want to do.

Federal property belongs to all of US.

Not doing anything about these assholes is like sitting back and riding out cancer.

They are not there to stop the protesting. They are there to protect the federal buildings and then when the protesters try to do something to the building then they are arrested. You're watching too much of the mainstream media.

I’m not much of a fan of the federal government stepping in to reprimand states, when they express the clear desire for them not to be there.

What is going on is not protests but allowing the take over of cities. A protest is not what is happening for two months of terrorizing people in cities and highways.

That is not what is happening.

Will be here bitching about how little the federal government is doing if his neighborhood goes up in flames from "protests"

Washington established the role of squashing protesters during the whiskey rebellion.

Agree to a point; however, when the rioters damage local property, the people who voted the local politicians in have to pay the taxes to rebuild. These guys are protecting Federal property that the local politicians will not. If that gets burned up, then we ALL have to pay for it to be rebuilt. For that reason, I am ok with it.

Question. Do you believe federal troops should have enforced Civil Rights legislation, when local authorities would not?

Because it has literally happened.

If Republican Governor is allowed violent mobs to attack people that I disagreed with you think I would be okay with that

Well you see that's the difference between you and me. Because that's bullshite

You're entire shtick in this thread is gaslighting bullshite

You do realize that is not what they are doing?

Their assignment is protection of federal assets.
You're not a fan?

Federal crimes are crimes that cross state lines .
Example- if I’m a drug dealer From New Orleans and I go to Houston to get heroin , and come back to New Orleans to sell it . That’s a federal crime and the feds can get involved and pursue criminal charges .

Example 2- if I’m a riot organizer and I live in Los Angelas California, and I go to Seattle to organize a riot , the feds can get involved and pursue criminal charges .

Example 3- all bank robberies are considered federal crimes and the bank robber does not have to cross state lines .

Simply put Trump is sending in Federal Agents to these shite hole areas to cut the head off the snake of these riot organizers and drug dealers in Chicago . The president is basically telling local shitty mayors and DA’s office personal . You don’t want to put these people away I’ll step in and make sure they go away and do federal time . When you do federal time you do no less then 90% of the sentence . So if you get 10 years you’re in there for 9 no if ands and buts about it .

I agree - I would like to see these DEM dominated hell-holes stew in their own creation.

I would like for the President to throw down the gauntlet about the local governments abandoning their primary responsibility.

Need to demand mayors defend personal property and safety of their citizens - some sort of DOJ "consent decree" needs to be imposed on them or they lose ALL their access to any federal funding or support ANYWHERE in their jurisdiction.

If the mayors refuse - then the Governor should be demanded to replace them or the whole STATE loses any access to federal funding or support.

I do NOT want federal agents in these anarchic areas where the entire intent is to provoke another "Kent State" incident.

There are a lot of fake conservatives in here, who still haven’t learned from their emotional knee-jerk reactions to 911 that gave us the Patriot Act.

I wonder when the lawsuits by the business owners is going to hit the local government there.

So you have just admitted that your expectation of government is to treat you like a child. Thats interesting.

It would not surprise me at all if these reports are greatly exaggerated, completely justified with intelligence and warrants (they already had warrants to arrest these people and then went out and grabbed them while they were in public), or that the stories are completely false all together.

Guarantee both of these points are true as well as there being completely fabricated stories added in the mix
