I’m becoming more afraid for Florida

So I came over to St Pete and I’m in the arts district and outside and this lady comes by with her dog. She’s from Boston and been down here ten years or so. I tell the story how these 2 pilots from Boston came down here with young kids and were so happy to not have to be masked and I said they could not go out in Boston unless vaxxed and masked.
She then started a tirade about how bad DeSantis is. (No, did not argue back). Literally shocked at how anyone can be against freedom. So, come back inside to girlfriends daughters house and tell the story and they agree…no pics…
GF is art teacher and voted for biden. I remind her of that every day.
Point of this is that there are a substantial amount of people that don’t like DeSantis for the freedom… also now the new anti gay teaching law, etc. as discussed on this board regularly, o matter what you say these people cannot comprehend logic and common sense. I’m worried

Trust me, there’s no way DeSantis loses any fair election here. You’re just in one of the libtard hotspots. They gravitate toward large urban environments because they can’t actually do anything useful to society for themselves. Therefore, they congregate where they can get paid for doing bullshite and pay for every little thing.

This is not a Florida problem. This is a 2022 right versus left problem. We're beyond the point of living together as one. We're well past "agreeing to disagree" and knowing that even if you're not happy with HOW a political party or politician is going about moving the country forward, you can at least agree about the direction and if we even like the country we're in.

Not much anyone can say about Putin, but anyone trying to vilify Trump or DeSantis needs to be verbally biotch slapped. Don't take it. Don't be reasonable, don't back peddle or stand down.
This proves it's not just about OMB. If we accept that Trump is just too divisive, but they'll be more reasonable or sane with anyone else, it's a lie. DeSantis is all the proof you need.

You're trying to think rationally. What you are expecting will never happen, because these folks will absolutely NEVER admit that things have turned into shite, or bear any of the blame. Not one bit.
