let them suffer maybe it will motivate them not to rely on the government to survive. If they could police who gets assistance better maybe i would be more compassionate but if you make it easy for people they will be lazy

The Republican funding bill is for a single month of funding. That solves nothing.

Publix has pork loins and chicken breast BOGO this week. I stocked up. Put what I won't use this week in the freezer.

I’ve been managing people for nearly 10 years now. Here is what I’ve learned. When you take away a resource in an environment where there is an over abundance of resources, they will adapt.

These people will adapt.

You dont have to like the rules of snap, but there are people who do rely on it and need it.

For those who are against it and think its only being abused by bad actors that isn't true.

Im all for changing the rules on what you can get and what is necessary, but some people do need basic help and were good contributors to US society for many years.

I've got employees that are in college on snap. You're supposed to be poor and figuring things out in college. It develops character and a skill set

Eating healthy can be expensive

It can be. But it can also be less expensive if you'll take the time and responsibility for actually cooking your own food rather than buying prepared meals. And - healthy food does NOT have be be purchased at Whole Foods or Sprouts or any other of the multitude of high-dollar frou-frou establishments. Quality food can be found a Kroger, Publix, Ingles, A&P, etc.

I anticipate some volatile situations going down in any retail place that sells food. The videos of the leeches represent what we should all expect to see in a week or two. Be diligent and carry your firearms when out in public. If they can’t steal food straight out of a store, they will attempt to rob you of your cash or anything of value on your person. Keep your head on a swivel at all times. Take extra caution even within the security of your home. These animals are going to be rabid if they go a few days without.

What you need to realize is that even IF the Republicans offered up the CR with only a change to include SNAP, the Democrats would vote against it. Why? Because they don’t truly care about people in dire situations. Just like they purposely voted against paying the troops…

Sure thing, be worried about SNAP as we grow our debt $1Trillion in two months. This is all about to be a moot point and you retards will still ask for free shite.

People who depend on SNAP benefits should not have the right to vote.
You shouldn’t get to vote for more of someone else’s labor.

No, it doesn’t need to be “funded.”
And no, you’re not a conservative if you think it does.

No one is entitled to what someone else earned—no amount of it.

I agree with you for the reason that this is going to negatively effect children in our country. Kids don't get to pick their families. They shouldn't go hungry because they were born into a shitty situation. Can't claim to be pro life or a Christian and not give a shat about kids in the USA going hungry.

Good, healthy food should not be as expensive as it is, and its quite expensive.

Beans are expensive? Broccoli? Chicken?

A pound of pinto beans is $1. Chicken is about $2.50 per pound. Twelve ounces of broccoli is $1.16.

Good, healthy food is NOT expensive. A person can eat healthy, nutritious food for less than $5 per day. Now, they might not get what they WANT to eat for that price.

This is it. It's not a way of life. Hell some are generations in and consider it the norm.
