I would like to know if she is employed. Income sources, given iPhone, lodging, car, etc.? Nefarious gang-related associations? Married? Voting record and possible SS#?
I suspect we'll never get access to this kind of info, but it would be good to post it publicly when or if a Dem public outcry manifests.
And for the record, if this is a responsible person who is working and contributing, and raising their children to do the same, I'd be willing to consider mercy. Albeit that really opens a can of systematic worms, and likely and idealist dream.

Better to deport the law abiding ones in order to encourage self-deportation. I do feel compassion for these folks but they never should have come here. We have to harden our hearts and apply the law.

If you visit Virginia and environs you will be surrounded by uninsured illegals who were given drivers' licenses but don't have insurance.

Willing to bet daughter, she was saying mommy, speaks only English. Mother here illegally, probably working regular shite job like most of us. Speaking Spanish with officer as this is a serious matter and using first language.
Now, if above is close to actual, she should be deported, then immediately start the LEGAL process to come back. It's not hard to follow the rules, just not as convenient as cutting in line and boarding the roller-coaster first.
