It's a shame there's no real oversight. All of government just whistles and look the other way when pretty much every congressman and senator become automatic millionaires after taking office.



If there was oversight and it was impossible to become a millionaire on the government's teet, there would be no lifelong politicians who make a career out of it. They'd do one term and then leave.

At this point, let them keep the money. Just get them to agree to go home. And, never come back.
