The war on language is very important. Why do you think we always here phrases like "does Israel have the right to defend themselves" or "does Israel have the right to exist" only for Israel and no other country? It's deceptive framing of questions that are in defense of their actions. They could attack another country completely unprovoked and they'll instantly pull out one of those questions in a debate. They continuously argue in bad faith and falsely accuse critics of being antisemites. It has become so ubiquitous in American culture that even people who aren't Zionists use this type of language.

Israel has always been abundantly clear it will not respond proportionally. 100x response is a minimum deterrent, especially when the other side doesn’t value human life.
