That is ILLEGAL.....you can wear whatever you want to vote!

No you can’t. I’m sure maga can find an exception at the villages or something but for the vast majority of sane locations you can’t wear maga hats or hope and change shirts to vote

Get the F outta here with that crap. Everybody and their brother knows exactly what a rainbow pride is, what it represents and I can assure you it has nothing to do with God.

Traced my dad's side back to Normandy, France. Family roots settled in southern Louisiana. Mom's side...a little less luck. Trail drops off quickly in Texas during the mid-1800s...probably illegals

You must have flunked Sunday school more than a few times I'm thinking. The rainbow covenant is taught to 5 year olds.

Yeah so what? The swastika was also an ancient, universal symbol dating back 7,000 to 11,000 years originating it was historically used across almost every continent as a sacred or positive emblem. AND Your point is?

Illegal in Texas. I've been a precinct judge and had to tell people that they either needed to turn the shirt inside out, or leave and come back wearing a different shirt. Also, same for caps.

where do you see most MAGA attire? Who do you associate with the term MAGA nearly always? On which Party's website are MAGA items sold? I think it rises to that level.

What you think is irrelevant.

You didn’t answer any pertinent questions.

Why is that?

Not exactly...the swastika you are referencing looked visually different from the one used by Nazi Germany. My point is that a poll sitter would probably allow someone to vote who was wearing a rainbow because of the ambiguity, but with MAGA, there is none...it is unique political dog whistle.

There is a difference between a dog whistle symbol (MAGA) and an innocuous symbol like a rainbow. The rainbow doesn't amount to electioneering because even if it represents LBGTQ+ members, they are not exclusive to one party. Hope this explanation helps...it's about exclusive political messaging that's restricted near most polling sites.

Personally, I support the electioneering laws. But denying voting rights is on another level. Not only that. It’s nobody’s business how I vote, so I’d never wear anything. I just will never be happy some maw-maw enforces voting laws.

I understand...not sure how I would react if someone stopped me from voting...probably not to well initially. Hopefully, they were able to work it out...every legally qualified individual deserves the right to vote.

Sorry, but the courts don't see it that way. Don't shoot me, I'm just the messenger.

That is not what you posted.

Again, where does it state that wearing a MAGA hat is an offense?

Short answer…it doesn’t.

Refusing someone the right to vote over this is capricious and arbitrary.

Ironically (or maybe not), it is actual voter suppression.

Beautiful state that has a staggering amount of abject poverty and very low population.

Weird as shite.
