Obviously won’t be Pence this time.

DeSantis might be better off staying Gov if Florida and wouldn’t add much to the ticket (if you like DeSantis you like Trump most likely).

My guess is he could pick a woman to try and help get the suburban woman vote (although Brandon’s 10% inflation should be enough…) but Lake will be too new and Haley is a RINO. Maybe Noam or Ernst?

Way before the convention the GOP will threaten him with bannage from the stage; under some sudden GOP water buffalo rule that Ronna Romney made up.

Unless....he chooses who they say as VP.

Pence was an olive branch to the party establishment last time.

Didn’t work out so well.

He gets to pick one on his own this time around and dare the establishment wing to bolt and vote for Biden, Heels Up, or the idiot out in California.

He is the most recent candidate and controls the rules for the convention.

I have no idea. But I hope he gets an outsider. Someone like Winsome Earle-Sears.

Only way it's DeSantis is if Trump tells him he will resign at 2 years so he can have the last two years, plus 8 more.

Don't know..but anyone that will have any kind of Prez aspirations in '28 would be a waste of his term.

He needs to be completely free to clean out the swamp, and the VPs job is to implement the plan. We don't need a diversity hirer. We need someone we know can get the job done, not just someone who has spoken a big game. No tip toe around needing to set up a Prez run in '28.

Lets the '28 pool be completely fresh too.

Them going after Trump isn’t just to smear him, it’s also to deter other good people from joining him in the fear that their lives will be ruined.

Take this into account when you lay peoples names out. Figure in their backbone too.

MTG might be the man for the job. She has bigger balls than 90% of the Republican men.

This is the answer. And then, James Woods is the ONLY choice for Press Secretary.

If he does have someone that wants to be his successor as VP it sets up a big problem when Ron runs in 2028

Someone who knows their place, that they’ve got to step aside for DeSantis after this one term.
