If the citizenry could agree on a couple of states on each coast and maybe Illinois to be the Cultural Marxist Staes of Utopia.....it maybe could work. It would take 5-10 years to figure out the logistics of such a breakup and then get the people rounded up and moved out to the Marxist sanctuary state of their liking.

The leftists wouldn't need half. They are probably less than 25% of country. The rest are slightly left or right of center or to the right of that. Give them New Mexico, Arizona, Cali, Oregon and Wash and there'd be room left over to deport anyone who doesn't want to live peacefully and work for a living.

I think it would be a temporary reprieve.
Just something about our republic that leads to two parties. So assuming we split and adopt a similar system, it’s only a matter of time until the left right divide develops again naturally.
A two party system isn’t a bad thing. It just goes south bad when one side quits abiding by the same founding principles.

1) Too many over the decades paid the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of the ideals of this ENTIRE republic.
2) They (the Marxists) would never permanently abide by some “agreement” to forever leave your conservative country alone and in peace. That is not how Marxism works. Never has been. Wake up. They have never given any indication in world history that they can be trusted.
3) “Oh, well if they (the Left), broke an agreement, I’d fight for my conservative nation!!”
…..So you will fight for your imagined conservative country someday but you won’t stand up for your present home and republic now during the midst of maybe one its greatest tests?
