I doubt many Republicans would rush to the side of the guy that hitched his wagon to a guy that got impeached. There certainly a lot of spineless hacks that lack principle in the GOP party(and the Dem party for that matter), but I choose to believe there are many that wouldn't want to associate themselves with that stink. Pence will be a powerless, ineffectual President if Trump is impeached.
But I've been wrong before.

You obviously don't know what impeach means. Trump being impeached wouldn't make Pence president just like Bill Clinton being impeached didn't make Gore president.
