It's really too bad the GOP cannot do a primary to determine the President to replace Trump if he is impeached.

Pence doesn't seem to be very Presidential, but I could be wrong.

Pence has been very quiet in comparison to Trump as well as previous Vice Presidents. I am curious how he would do if Trump is impeached.

Sure. If Trump is impeached, Pence won't be able to get much of anything done and DC will just count the days down until 2020.

Why would trump be impeached? He's done nothing wrong. Yeah sure the Dems can try with this Russia bullshite but it's already been told by everybody there was no collusion.

In all honesty, I hope the Dems keep going forward with the investigation. Everything they do always blows up in their faces so why shouldn't I believe that this will as well? They'll probably find that the Democrats were the ones cozying up to the Russians.

Pence is level-headed and has a good foundation for decision-making. He was previously a governor so I don't think he lacks leadership experience. I'd be fine with him as President.

Not ideal, but a great improvement over El Douche.

The libs would be out of the frying pan and into the fire. It'd be hilarious. Nothing I like better than seeing progs writhe in agony.

I didn't know much about Pence other than he general views that are available on the web. The vice presidential debate sold he and a ton of other conservatives on him as well as DJT (He was basically the ying to DJT's yang). Dude handled himself thank a champ compared to the clown show across from him.

Pence would be a terrible president with terrible policy goals, but he'd at least be competent where Trump is not in any way.

Plus, after the Dems take back congress in 2018, he won't be able to control the legislature and won't be able to get any wars authorized to scare people into voting for him again for "continuity" like W did.

Then, in 2020, the stench left on him by Trump will ensure his political career is over forever, the Trump era will be behind us, and we'll have sent the message to any would be future tyrants that the rule of law still has at least SOME teeth.

I'm so sick of this dramatic wanna be House of Cards bullshite that the coasts wanna push. Life isn't a screenplay that these people get to make up on the fly. They look insane to me as an independent

Pence is basically the stereotypical conservative "right wing" Republican that Democrats have been railing for years that Republicans had to get away from.

Trump essentially embodies EVERYTHING they've been saying Republicans should embrace in order to appeals to the "moderate mainstream" of America (usually, meaning them).

Personally, I would love to see Pence as president (one day?), but the irony of the whole situation is delicious.

Yes, holy sh*t. The investigation is about Russia meddling in the election, not if Trump was colluding with Russians. Zero evidence of that.
