Saw the am tweet. Death rates are low so should be fine?

Yeah. I’m sending one to work in a city clinic. So yeah.

I am sending them even if they don't open. They can sit in the parking lot and do school work, this shite is ridiculous

Yes, they will go to school if they are open this fall...

100% yes. This won't hurt my 16 and 18 year old kids. Plus I'm an adult, we can manage the grandparents without shutting down the economy.

If I'm paying for it, then yes I expect school to be open with my children in the classroom.

My kids school will be open. We are sending him. Also, my oldest is currently at summer camps, and my youngest is at daycare.
Any other gotchas?

Daycares in my area have been open for months

Yes and our fundamental school does not allow woke politics. No wild braids or hair dye! No jorts! No common core! Math and science for all!

I am sending my kids.
Kids need school. I will be very disappointed amd worried about gaps in their education if they had to do the distance learning thing.
My son is in 8th grade and will take Algebra this year.
Gaps in algebra will cause problems for the rest of hus math classes and even into college.
I have not used algebra in 25 years so I can't help him.

Of course my kids are going to school.
I'm annoyed at the restrictions.
There is no data that even remotely suggests they are necessary.
Schools have been open across the planet without restrictions for months and there have been no issues.
However, those places aren't in an election year and don't have the aggressive lawsuit culture.
It's health theater.

We're looking at a private school. Not because I'm worried about covid, but I'm worried public schools may shut down in the middle of the year.

Yes. Even the Academy of Pediatrics said open the schools.
