If Iran attacks US personnel or assets, you level their most valued military asset and you put a few missiles in the living room of the mullah’s favorite palace.

I don't want our people fighting in a mountainous desert, but we should be flying bombing sorties 24/7 for a month straight. Completely destroy Iran's ability to wage war or produce oil. Their entire petroleum infrastructure runs through Kharg Island in the Persian Gulf. That place should be leveled on day 1.

It whould have to be a catastrophic event for me to support boots on the ground. Now dropping bombs and cruise missiles at anything left after Israel finishes would be fine.
I would also not just target the military leaders but the mullahs as well. They are the ones in control and for any meaningful change to occur there requires their removal.
I imagine that a huge number of Iranian citizens dont support the mullahs. They just want to raise a family and be left alone but if they voice that opinion they end up in prison or a graveyard.

I don't think they will try. Maybe lob a handful that will get intercepted to try and look tough. But they are absolutely devastated after last night.

Not unless there is absolute proof that Iran is behind the attack. I don't believe Iran would be that stupid. I believe there is a higher possibility for a false flag attack that will be blamed on Iran.

USS Carl Vinson is in the area. A US carrier task force has more firepower than the entire Iranian Air Force. It has F-35C fighters and accompanying ships with enough missiles to put a big hurt on Iran. Not to mention Air Force assets that can come from anywhere with aerial refueling.
An invasion is not needed. Just take out their offensive and defensive assets and then let Israel have an open field.
