....do you think all hell will be unleashed by Trump in terms of fraud investigations and drastic measures (Johnson refusing to seat, national emergency, etc) or will the GOP just roll over and resort to the normal games that the party not in power plays?

A power shift is the historic norm for midterms. Also polling. Trump personally is an outlier for polling, but the GOP as a whole is not.

Im not talking about Dem reaction, that's a certain, but instead the GOP and Trump reaction.

See what I said above. When it is Trump running personally, you are correct. But the full ticket polling is pretty accurate.

Those who are strong enough to realize and accept it know that one Side or the other will take control of formal governance and impose ‘dictatorial’ authority over the other. The weak-mined or those with much to lose hope against the historical record and common sense that such can be averted. But given the ideological polarity of the two competing groups it’s a zero sum game. One’s gain is the other’s loss. And the ‘loser’ of formal government power will reject authority either on the basis of non-Democracy or that of non-Constitutional (the Constitution nullified and constrained Democracy within God-given INALIENABLE RIGHTS) nullification.

Talk and voting cannot solve this dilemma as both have become THE problem. What else is new in the historical record. Albeit a truly, FULLY honest and comprehensive dialog might bring seemingly irreconcilable opponents back to the civic table, but not before we are on the edge of the violent revolution abyss. Hurt feelings and political correctness out the window for Truth’s sake.

Lord come quickly.

Democrats will launch a wave of useless and performative impeachments.

Trump will bluster like the fake tough guy he is. Nothing gets done, per the usual.

I often wonder what that particular civil war will look like. I don't think it will resemble 1860-1865 at all. It will be far worse.
