Isn't China and the birth tourism, besides Mexico, the main reason why then Trump has attacked the meaning of the 14th amendment on Birthright citizenship. The SCOTUS let us down.

Both countries need one another to survive. We can never go to war or be at odds with each other, otherwise things would go very bad for both of us.
While everything you say is true, they’ve been conducting warfare against us for decades. Similar to how the Marxist democrats have been waging war against us while the right plays wack a mole and doesn’t take the high stakes seriously

This board swore everything Trump did was 4D chess against China, then he went over there, sucked Xi off and accomplished nothing.
You’ve lost your mind over the past year. Kinda sad to see.
Also Trump has dealt some gigantic blows to China whereas ever single politician before him did nothing besides take money and look the other way

That’s the biggest difference. Just like Iran is the biggest threat to the American Empire and not the American people (Mark Levin will tell you differently).
Our country used to be staunchly isolationist, but since we decided to become expansionists in the early 20th century, our country has been flooded with immigrants, changed the genetic makeup of this country, and now we’re too far gone to go back.
Within the next 50 years, whites will be a minority, Islam will be bigger than Christianity (Muslims tend not to abandon their religion like us Christians do and they have more kids), and communism will be the dominant economic/social policy.
Or a civil war will happen.

Because the monetary policy decisions made since we got off the gold standard have not been about making America better, but making it wealthier.
Wealth is good, but wealth can mean a lot of different things. "We've" focused on the wrong type of wealth at the exclusion of all others. Making line go up is great, but when it happens at the expense of productive Americans - then there needs to be something that justifies that sacrifice in human capital.
Americans went from farms and factories to transaction facilitators. It might put food on the table, but the soul is being sucked out of the people.
We've turned America into a disposable economic zone. Even the people are seen as interchangeable widgets. It's created a drab, ugly earth-toned society of professional thumb twiddlers.
America has lost its way in service of a merchant class of penny-pinchers.

Boomers should have been asking these questions 25ish years ago. Thanks for letting it get to this point. Along with the cultural destruction by mass importing islamx and Hindus, during that same period.

The average working class American man was saying these things, but was called racist and summarily ignored. The uniparty drove forward with policies that weakened US sovereignty and independence.
The same things that led to the fall of Rome will lead to the fall of the US empire. We are a decadent and jaded people blissfully heading to slaughter by a corporate class that doesn't identify with America as a culture worth defending. Sold out to people that worship the dollar and elevate feminists, queers, and black queens.

One of the problems is that China is the sole source for many prescription drugs that are manufactured for US. Eample: 90+% of all high blood pressure medication is made in China.
As stated earlier, we should have been decoupling and becoming more self sufficient many years ago

China is the driver behind our monopolistic oligarchy.
They're only a bad guy when convenient.

Turns out China makes lots of stuff our supply chain cant function without.
Back when the supply chain crisis was ongoing, we learned stuff like caps for jugs and raw materials for filters come from china.
So, even stuff we think of as made in America is dependent on a vital part, even a small part, from China.

If China is at the door to knocking us off then why are our companies still allowed to pump money into the Chinese economy?
1. Because private enterprise is not controlled by the US Govt.
2. Because profit motives outrank long term political repercussions
3. China is an indirect threat, and is playing the political long game
4. Xi’s reference to Thucydides Trap should have removed all doubt

The United States voluntarily chose to enter into this arrangement to reduce labor costs.
Yeah, but that's like saying that I voluntarily choose to not drink the bottle of Draino under my sink. Technically true, but...
Those of you who think the United States can just pull up the drawbridge and literally become one big inbred country while ignoring the rest of the world are so stupid it gets hard for me to believe it.
China is the 2nd largest economy in the world. Sure, we could have kept paying American factory workers the equivalent of $85,000 a year to stand at a conveyor belt all day and turn a screw, but if we had we would being having a hell of a lot bigger "affordability crisis" than the manufactured one we have today.
What's amazing to me (besides the sheer mathematical stupidity of this narrative) is the acceptance—nay, demand—for leftist protectionist policies as long as blue collar Americans are the (supposed) beneficiaries of it by people who claim to be "conservatives."
