How come strip clubs don't get sued for refusing to hire men?

Yea if all things are equal and the male gets more, then sure, that’s fricked up. But years of service, job title, etc all factor into pay. We can’t pay a secretary the same as the ceo just in the name of equality.

Too fricking emotional.

Not to my knowledge. Maybe other states are more friendly toward working moms.
What the frick are you talking about "states"?

There are plenty of individual companies where professional woman make individual arrangements(and men for that matter).

Not being snarky, but you must not know many people. I know scores of professionals who have negotiated or agreed to take on less responsibility/hours in order to attend to family needs.

Same here.

She needs to get out more.

You declined to get paid more.

Geez, maybe you made the right choice. You don't seem bright.

I declined a promotion because I didn't want to have to devote more time to work but I don't consider that having negotiated a flexible schedule.

In economic terms for the organization, what you did is exactly the same as negotiating for a flexible schedule.

But my title would changed. It would have been a different job. When I was offered my job I asked if the salary was negotiable and I was told no. I negotiated it anyway so of anything, I'm decreasing the alleged wage gap.

The "wage gap" doesn't take into account those types of variables. The "wage gap" isn't looking at men and women, at the same position, with the same experience, and the same benefits. It is just looking at men vs women. When they are used, the wage gap all but disappears. The "wage gap" is the difference between what women are paid and men are paid. So, you refusing a promotion, that the majority of men would take, means you are going to allow men to make more than you, a woman. So, you are adding to the wage gap.

Men are injured and die in the workplace 10x more than women. Close that gap and then come talk to me.

This is the part nobody talks about. Men have historically been paid more because a man's labor is more valuable. Males are bigger, stronger, and actually slightly smarter than females. It stands to reason that they would make more money in any job that has physical requirements.

Everyone loses in this scenario I believe. A company is not going to raise women’s pay to be equal with a man. They will simply pay the lower equal wage to everyone. Everyone loses. Yay! Lower pay for everyone—but equal.
