Why would they self deport unless they’d be going back to jail in their home country which is unlikely

If they have a vehicle, they keep it if they self deport, if they get caught it is impounded. All of their belongings could be lost if there is no one else who wasn't caught to take care of them. For some it will be better to leave with what they have instead of losing it all and being dumped off a plane with nothing.

If they are deporting non-criminals, so to speak, you would self deport so that you could get your affairs in order. You don’t want to just get thrown into Mexico and leave everything behind without notice.

lol. Some of you guys are fricking clueless. A lot of these people don’t have shite but what’s on their back and fits in a small closet.

They are much better off risking staying here then self deporting. That’s an absurd concept for most. The risk of deportation has always been there.

ETA: most of them aren’t Mexicans. Getting back to guatamala, Honduras, etc isn’t exactly easy

This weekend, a radio station owned by the George Soros-controlled Audacy outrageously identified the vehicle whereabouts of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents operating in San Jose, California, which is known for violent gang activity.

station needs to be raided and host arrested and charged with tampering with a federal investigation

give Soros something to spend his money on

You’re an idiot. Most have been here for years and have cars, equipment and family. We aren’t talking about folks stumbling through the desert. Do you leave your house?

If they have been here for years and have things, they are likely working on being *legal (eta) and not going to be deported.

I have over 20 Hispanics that work for me. I’m far from clueless. They may move somewhere else with family, but they aren’t self deporting unless it’s an absolute last straw.

ETA: what benefits do they have self deporting? There aren’t shite for jobs where they come from, their living situation is basically slums, and they have little to no hope.

There are major construction sites that have basically shut down this week. ICE is showing up randomly at all of them.

I voted for Trump. I’m glad he’s keeping his promises. This is going to have a massive impact on the construction sector. Pandemic level. Many contractors will not make it. Some of these workers have been here for decades. Many of them are good people, their WA expired and they didn’t catch it in time or even thought they needed to.

This will have a pandemic level impact on construction and there aren’t many Gen Zers out there that have ever used a tape measure.

Again, glad Trump is a man of his word. Part of me was hoping this would be handled in a tiered manner. My biggest problem is the government allowed this to go on for many years. The government created this problem and this reliance on illegals. Now a lot of people (including Americans) are going to pay for this problem the government created.

I think we have identified the problem. You are the problem. Justify it anyway you want but you are encouraging the invasion of our country. Some greedy dirtbag like you employed the SOB that killed my sister. I hope your entire business collapses. How’s that.

That household don't frick around when they celebrate birthdays, Cinc De Mayo, etc. In the backyard they will have half a dozen big tables setup, streamers, inflatable play area for the kids, two or three grills going, Mexican accordion music playing. They like big gatherings and parking gets hard to come by in the cul-de-sac when they're partying in the backyard.

Have you ever been to their houses for dinner or a get together? They aren’t all broke living in shacks.

And way to announce you hire illegals.

So you admit you’re a piece of shite who is facilitating the downfall of our country by hiring illegal, cheap labor?

Hopefully ICE sees this and takes all of about 10 minutes to ID you and drive you out of business.

You know so did I and I didn’t think about it until now, but there was only one person working there. And I think it was the owner

The guy who usually serves me and the woman at the cash register were both gone and I’ve never seen them not be there
