Well, political policy aside...I can not imagine Eddie Rispone - given his physical voice - delivering comforting daily CV Reports. JBE - love him or hate im' - has a soothing voice, and a strong Religious psyche. Made for this time. IMO, he's done a good job. Future economic policy nws.

Just relevant points, jr.; as minor as they may be in the big scheme of things.
For the record, I don't like the 'Trial Lawyer' thing or the shenanigans re the Black vote down in NO. But I do like JBE's gun stance.
If I were a JBE advisor...I'd advise him to defect to the Republican Party. He's old school Dem; he won't. But this Nation is either going to come together...or come apart. Binary choice. We can pick our poison; the CV was just a taste of what can come.

Way too many people don't really understand the damage a liberal / progressive can do in office. This shutdown is a good example. But, honestly, it could even be worse. Edwards isn't a "progressive", but he's beholden to those in his party. And, he's not capable of running the show himself.

It’s amazing how gullible fools like you just eat up the window dressing like it’s something when in reality it’s actually nothing at all.
Part of the reason so many people in Louisiana still stubbornly cling to the “I don’t like JBE but...” is so many old people here so desperately want the culturally conservative Dixiecrats to return and refuse to acknowledge that JBE is beholden to the progressive wing of the democrat party despite having a clear record as a tax and spend liberal.
