Precisely. Bab al-mandeb and the strait of malacca or lombak are no less susceptible to this sort of thing should one of the nations surrounding feel empowered to do so.

People forget what happened within 4 days of the initial attack. At any given time, especially at a perfect time and without Iran's surrender, the initial 4 days will be described as a walk in the park compared to what will hit them.

Frankly, I'm kinda glad they fired on us yesterday so when we go full throttle on them they will only have themselves to blame. They have zero intention of cutting a deal so extending the deadline only makes Trump look like the fool.

Marines and 82nd Airborne need to take Kharg Island.

Coastal defenses? That’s what A-10s are for.

Overwhelming force is ultimately the only thing these frickers will respect.

What, in your opinion, will hit them?

I had serious problems with Biden and his mental acuity was certainly in the top 3.

This "cease fire" has enabled Iran, with help from Russia and China, to upgrade its air defense systems. We've probably lost air supremacy and will have much more difficulty taking out some of the targets we want.

What needs to be done? How do we do it? How does “doing what needs to be done” affect everything else? In the short term? Long term?

If you really think that we're doing that much damage to their economy, you're crazy. They were supposed to run out of money along time ago. If they are willing to murder 30,000 protesters they don't give a shite if they're regular people run out of money. There may money guys won't run out of money, instead they will make us look like shite

Change your mind? It was trump who asked for the ceasefire. It is trump who keeps extending it.

that's sensible is it not?

but not that he has been made a fool if you want to say it, it's time to do what he doesn't want to do....right?

He's going to take action my question is what do you think he should do?

Because short of flattening the whole country or an invasion, there aren't any good military options. If they thought additional bombing like was seen early on would move the needle, it would have happened.

You have to get on the ground and actually take control of the Strait

YOu have to finish the work

allowing them to buy time and keep holding up oil/trade is crazy

you can't tell me we don't have have the military to do it

it's a matter of will and the president doesn't want our people killed which is what will happen

Fricking Quran BS is what is the root of all evil

The whole point of a negotiation is getting people to sit down at the table to actually negotiate. Trump is strongarming them to stay negotiating.

I bet you that every time Trump has hit Truth Social or X with threats of bombing Iran back to the stone age, was when Iran was threatening to walk away from negotiations.

I don't think that's how it works, but I appreciate your thoughts on it

Trump is trying to tell the world "don't make me do this because I do not want to do it but I will in the end...

Let me give you one more chance before no one can undo what is coming?

I do not know

Trump hates dying so there is that

What does the board think about this situation?

No new wars, meddling, or sticking our nose in the Middle East. That’s been the board’s policy.
