In reality, both sites only incite and exaggerate issues of the day, while being censored and skewed in a certain direction
Hey, I agree theyre bad for our country. they shouldn't be shutdown, but people should stop using them if this division is the result.

Deleted Facebook (the only thing I had) last year. Best decision I’ve made in years
I’ve been practically begging my friends to do the same to no avail, but I’ll keep trying
It is pure poison. You know what going to see my aging parents means now? Listening to them read their phones about who said this or that on Facebook. It’s fricking sad
ETA: had been wanting to delete it for years but wasn’t fully allowed to because i was married and she wanted to tag me in photos. Yes I am a cuck. I deleted that shite the second she handed me the papers though

I ONLY go to Twitter for the lulz when Trump posts. Otherwise, don't care.

Twitter has other functional uses and if you only follow certain things you do not get all the trash and opinion... For example, I use Twitter to follow the large softball tournaments my daughter plays in because that is how they get news out to the masses about venue and schedule changes... I do not follow anything else, including Donald Trump...
However, schools have gone to utilizing both twitter and Facebook to disseminate information. The wife has a Facebook account but has no friends on it and only follows the schools...

I’ve never had Twitter or Facebook. I do use Instagram for fun stuff. The moment I see any political shite I unfollow. I go to Instagram for fun shite and half naked woman. I don’t go their for your political viewpoint.

I created a Facebook account to keep in touch with family and kids. Now I only use it for concert venues I frequent. Have a twitter account but have never used it.

I deleted all my social media accounts in 2012. Social media is Peak Idiocy and it is catastrophic not only for society, but for the individual. I check in on three or four personal friend’s accounts just to monitor how psychologically agitated they are on any given day. You can just feel people unraveling all over the place.

Twitter (especially) has been a one-point-of-view echo chamber for a long time. Conservatives have been silent for too long.
Better stragegy is for conservatives to be on there posting their views voraciously, and responding to the silliness posted on there.
Being silent is the worst thing you can do.
