I watched the TPUSA thing after I got home last night. Kid Rock lip synced too (if you even want to call it that since the mic wasn't even near his mouth while he was "singing").

I didn’t see it either because I just didn’t care to listen to a Hispanic concert of some fellow I never even heard of prior to a couple weeks ago.

But let’s not get it twisted, the Turning Point show wasn’t all that great either. The first act sucked arse. The second was ok but had no clue who he was. The chic was ok. Kid Rock lip synced Bawitabaw but at least it’s a good song. I will say that I really liked the last song he sang.

As for Russia, they have their hands full trying to drive 200 miles over land to Kiev. The days of them projecting any kind of blue water naval threat are rusting away in Murmansk.

I’m twice that and read this kind of stuff on a regular basis (RealClearHistory and RealClearDefense) just for fun. Unless you are some sort of Annapolis professor, trying to sound like you have some unique perspective here just makes you look idiotic.

We can debate the actual capabilities of the Russian sub fleet (à la Ike and JFK) all day long, but their surface fleet is a joke. Even if they DID have any ability (much less desire) to meddle over here, how is PR a significant factor compared to Cuba and (up until recently) Venezuela. Has ANYBODY been making the case that Russia has been using these as some sort of back door to the US? I mean, maybe if they can suck up to the PLA enough, they could tag team enough to worry about here, but why would they?
