My arguments about tariffs are based in the academic work of Friedman and Sowell (not Sowell's comments today
) I've been promoting their work on here for, oh, 19 years? There was once a time where their work was celebrated and not controversial, but that ended around 2016 when substantive talking points and economic leftism became preferred by so many who used to love promoting the opposite economics of Friedman/Sowell.
I remained consistent and without hypocrisy, I might add.
