And cementhead Trump just sat there while his advisors, including his own son, told him to tell them to go home.
And yes, some of them were rioters. Broken windows show they were not all peaceful grandmothers out for a walk.

I remember listening to Trump before January 6 and hyping it up. I felt like he was hinting at presenting some new information on the election being stolen. He presented a summary of everything he mentioned before. He was 100% correct, but really no new information. I’m totally ok with people going there, but I wasn’t going to Washington to hear him repeat the same information. I also knew nothing he said would change the fake results anyway.

They were useful idiots in so much as they saw what the Summer of 2020 riots looked like in cities across the country and no one got in serious trouble, many were not even arrested or ticketed. Their mistake was thinking that the justice system is fair and balanced and they would not get into any trouble either.

Don’t forget the leftists had been literally burning down and looting cities and the government took a knee for them. The real question is how a bunch of unarmed citizens got through Capitol Police and on the Senate floor while Congress was down the hall certifying the vote. If that overwhelmed Capitol security, they have bigger problems.

There was obviously a lot I did not like about the election (aka the 2AM switcheroo), but I told my wife it was bad news to hold that rally while the electors were doing their thing that day. Even if nothing happened, it just looked desperate.
That being said, it is obvious that most anyone with half a pulse doesn't believe there was any sort of 'insurrection'. If a bunch of yahoos can waltz into the Capitol, I'm not sure we really learned anything from 9/11.

I heard the testimony from retired Capitol police chief Sund, he testified if Pelosi and Mayor Bowser would have taken Trump's offer for 5-10K national guard troops the situation on J6 doesn't occur. The J6 shite Show was a fabricated opportunity by the Anti Trump Consortium, hoping to destroy the America First Movement ....it didn't work.

eh, they were going to find some way of villainizing Trump and his supporters. When you can use three letter agencies to infiltrate the group and turn mole hills into mountains, then any gathering is an insurrection.
