Well that’s just because you get your political takes from social media influencers. She’s been in office for like 12 days.
Not that anybody cares, but the true driver of these costs is demand. Data centers in VA have been going up like crazy for years. Energy bills have been steadily climbing for a longtime.
If this hasn’t happened to your state yet it probably will, regardless of who the governor is. Surging energy demand is everywhere.

Why didn't Yongkin get this cleaned up?
He really seems to fall flat. Unfortunately the gope kept up their attempt at trying to pushing a minority.
I don't get why a governor on the Right that is going to be termed out after one term is mentoring a legit qualified successor from the start. But RINOs don't care about the future cause they'll still benefit from the Democrats in charge

You think Youngkin was going to say no more data centers (business investment in his state)?
He enabled it just as much as anyone.

I'm sorry but Spangenberger looks like a Hunger Games character in every picture I see of her. It's something about the face, she just looks soulless. How could anyone vote for that??

Powerbottom can be reasonable (I would argue most reasonable) on other topics, but dude goes full tard when it comes to voting threads.

The domestic political power in VA belongs to the millions of US FedGov civilian employees who live there. These folks vote Democrat because the Dem Party is the Party of ever-growing FedGov and ever-growing spending.
They are voting for their pocketbook. The bigger FedGov grows, the more chance for promotion and pay raise for these people.
Why would anybody vote for policies that might cause them to lose their cushy and well-paying job? Virginians sure won't.

Anyone noticed how much the VA governor looks like the White Witch from Narnia? Always appears very calm but deeply evil.

You get what you vote for.
Feel bad for the rest of the state outside of the NoVA (Richmond) area, but they should have seceded and joined WVA years ago.
The deep blue craphole metro areas can and will 100% ruin entire States and geographical regions.
