I think at this point they won't push anything else, they would only validate the fact that they waited until the last minute to start this circus and that their claims are uncorroborated and have become more outlandish with each new claim. They are now the boy who cried wolf.
I feel as though they will try to save face now and move forward. The harder they push, the more it ignites the Republican base, it's a losing situation for them.

I would be more worried about an actual bomb going off near the capital or an assassination attempt on a Republican Senator. Something that would delay the vote from happening.

That happens and they can kiss any chance of taking control of the house, senate, or the presidency in 2020. Even the MSM wouldn't be able to explain away the direct connection between Dem leaders calls for violence and the actual violence occurring on a more frequent basis

The substantive objection to Kav is that he is a life long political operative, not Supreme Court material. But that has not gained any traction. He will be confirmed.

ETA: I was on Team Kethledge in the lead up to the nomination but there is no argument that Kavanaugh checks all the qualification boxes. There was never any serious opposition to his qualifications from legal or political organization until Fienstein and Co.’s unethical, transparent assault play fell flat.

Actually there is a strong argument that political operatives should not be rewarded with Supreme Court appointments. Kav’s role in the Clinton impeachment setup is enough to disqualify. You can’t identify any other member of the Court who has been such an aggressive partisan.
But this is the time of Trump. Loyalty and cultural warfare are paramount over everything else.
