Europe's been broke since the end of WW2 and on top of that they became dictatorial socialists. Best they can do is develop nukes to deter invasion, kick out the Muslims, and tell those retirees to move in with each other because the State can't afford their pensions.

He does have to do all the things he is doing for the west to survive. Joe much longer do you think we could have kept going down the path we were on?

I predict a unilateral USA Russian agreement... followed by a rejection of the deal by Ukraine and failed attempt by EU to prop up a defiant Ukraine. Ukraine defenses will collapse and Zelenski will either be deposed or depart. I predict vicious attacks on Trump by Europe, as they declare him "Putin's puppet". I predict the US to pull military assets out of certain countries in Europe.

Well this part is pretty much happening already. Trump and Vance are intentionally driving a wedge between the US and Europe right now.

And we’re past wondering whether Trump is going to be parroting whatever Putin tells him.

Haven’t they already declared a troop drawdown?

This. Europe is nothing without the U.S. and they know it.

Yeah, I don't see most of which you predict happening other than your first statement.

Trump being deposed would mean civil war and everyone in DC knows it.

How would that look? Would the military turn on the government or on the people? Where would the battles be kineticly fought?

The only thing China wants more than Taiwan is making the West think they want to take Taiwan
We have them pretty much in check with SoKo, Japan, Taiwan and the Philippines along with our fleet.

I don’t actually give a frick about Europe. I don’t need them. What I don’t get is so many Europeans that I know (20+ years working in a global biz with many euro offices) are solidly “MAGA” in that they hate the influx of migrants and erosion of culture.

You do realize they have a phantom Navy in addition to their ever growing Navy? Generally you do not build like that as use resources unless you are preparing for war.

Their non navy fleet is built to military standards and can be converted quickly.

Reds are some sneaky bastards.

You do. If you don't, then you're simply postponing being avassilated by da chineze. Wake up. Those that are in power aren't the populace. Europe is like the US.

Europe wants to see the war end. Especially Germany. They will play games, but will agree to a deal.
