Why did Trump rescind this approval for Mo Brooks?
He's unelectable. Allowing the Dems to steal a Senate seat in AL is simply not acceptable.

She'll still vote the correct way 90+% of the time.
So, she's better than a (D) in that regard.

She is 40 years old yet sounds like a 14 year old high school girl. Maybe her and Kamala can have a giggling contest.

Those who ask why the country and government have moved steadily to the left since Reagan left office, despite having the same number of Republicans elected President to Democrat, need look no further than the quoted text above for their answer.

Voting to send billions to Ukraine in the middle of a recession doesn’t seem to be very smart.

That’s like your wife fricking you except that one day each week when she plows the homeless crackhead.

When the shite hits the fan, they will bail on their constituents 100% of the time.

A female Richard Shelby was elected. This is what the majority of people in my state wanted. This is very sadly the type of Republican the majority of the party want. Smile for the camera, talk tough, bring home money to the state, and do absolutely nothing to change Washington for the better. Wash, rinse, and repeat.

since you went lowbrow, let's complete the analogy.

That’s like (A) your wife fricking you except that one day each week when she plows the homeless crackhead, AS OPPOSED TO (B) your wife being a crackhead, lying to LEOs claiming you beat her, working the courts to take your kids and money, and passing along her HIV to you the one time you did have sex.

It is a restricted binary choice.
So will it be (A) or (B)?

Dunno if she’s going to be better than Mo or not as a vote in the Senate. Can’t stand Mo, thought his face would look better with a fist decorating it for decades. So I’ll give her a shot and see how it goes.

If she’s bad she’ll likely be a one and done

Apparently the University of Oxford doesn't teach that a broke USA shouldn't send $60 billion to a corrupt country to fight a war that the CIA provoked.

Lots of dislike for Britt and Brooks on this board. I’m not in or from Alabama. Who should have run?

Because statewide he is not liked and the returns from the 2017 Special Election prove it. He comes in 3rd in the Republican primary behind Roy Moore and Luther Strange and is behind Strange by at least 13 pts.

Brooks is not a good retail politician. I know you MAGAs don't want to believe it, but many MAGA types are not good other than for being bombastic. Most don't have quality organization in terms of campaign staff and basic coordination with local officials for basic things like campaign rallies, etc.

I THINK it was because Mo Brooks encouraged Republicans and Conservatives to move on from investigating election anomalies and fraud surrounding the 2020 election and also claimed Trump continued to ask him to rescind the 2020 election.

March 23, 2022 - Mo Brooks Claims Trump Asked Him To Rescind 2020 Election

March 24, 2022 - Trump Was Still Asking Me To Rescind 2020

March 31, 2022 - MAGA Mess in Alabama

That's not really the full truth, the full truth is that in the 90s the evangelicals slowly eroded the Republican party to only mean "against abortion" and that was it. Nothing else matters as long as you are able to check the box "pro-life"

I grew up in rural Alabama. A guy I went to high school with has built a multi-million dollar operation in the poor rural town we grew up in. Employs a bunch of people - governor MeeMaw and Britt both recently visited his business.

He was at Britt's party last night. I don't know much about her, but I do know that this guy has good insight. I figured she was okay. Not so sure after reading this thread. Wow.

None of this is true.

Here’s what was in the contract with America: a balanced budget requirement, tax cuts for small businesses, families and seniors, term limits for legislators, social security reform, tort reform, and welfare reform.

She’s MCconnel’s choice for the seat.

That should tell you all you need to know.
