Your post is wrong on every point except one. You re a hopeless lefty and support the most corrupt political party in the western hemisphere and hate Donald Trump. The president has made it plain he was bringing Americans home as quickly as possible from the never ending chore of being the world's policeman. And talks have been going on between all parties in Syria. Since he took office almost 3 years ago.

Your biggest lie is the one phone call and green light thing. Turkey would pay an intolerable price for your so called "slaughter". None of this happened in a vacuum. Trump destroyed Obama's ISIS Caliphate creation and they will be even less of a factor with thousands upon thousands of Turkish troops to deal with. This is far more a Turkish problem, not an American one.

In addition Trump is the most honest and perhaps first American president to actually say what he means and mean what he says. He campaigned on bringing Americans home from endless wars. And putting Americans first. Don't like him, too bad, you socialists should have ran a better candidate and won the election in 2016. One who keeps his or her promises.

frick the kurds. Never once in my life have I laid awake at night wondering what the kurds are up to or if they need some more of my tax dollars. Further, a bunch of them are straight up Marxists.

Why would removing our troops have to prevent this?

So about 3 to 4 more administrations? The claim of a slow withdrawal is a fool's statement because in comes the next POTUS with a different strategy.

How mad would you be if Trump tweets Eisenhower's farewell address?

What does a fractious Arab civil war with atrocities on all sides have to do with protecting our Constitution?

What in the actual frick are you talking about? You think there’s peace over there? Grow the hell up and stop being naive. There hasn’t been peace there, there isn’t peace there now, and there won’t be peace there next year.

And regardless, IDGAF. I’m not for sending Americans to die in some bull shite political civil war in another country in the Middle East.

would also be in favor a strategic withdrawal from Afghanistan at this point. But leaving in the dark of night suddenly only emboldens the enemy and makes the vacuum more vicious.

With one phone call he's given Turkey the green light to invade NE Syria, slaughtering many of the same troops who helped us defeat ISIS over the past five years. This vacuum could very well lead to the resurgence of ISIS. And if ISIS struck in Europe or America again, many of you would be arguing for a large scale conflict, then we're back to square one

Nice slippery slope. If ISIS strikes in The US or Europe, normal people will argue for immigration restrictions and wonder why these Jihadis groups are magically able to slip through the same social media filters that catch anyone adamant about the existence of only two genders.

Where you getting that 1,000 number from? Trump says 50-100. Hell, the NYT even says a 100-150 so somebody is lying bigtime. I'll go with you.

This is my first open break with Trump on anything -

From what I know of the situation - I am totally aghast at this action.

I hope to be reconciled by reading the responses to your OP.
