A little trivia. Jews from the northeast have sent their kids to the University of Alabama for over 100 years. Some of the biggest Bama illumni groups are in places like New York City. Multiple generations of Jews are Bama grads.

An older friend who passed away a few years ago, grew up with a Jewish dad and Episcopalian mom. Dad never took him to synagogue but mom took him to church so he ended up being Episcopalian. By education he became a college math prof but when his dad died he inherited his dad's half of an indie oil company. Story is that he could put his hand into dog shite and come up with gold. He ended up putting together oil deals around the world, and never borrowed money to have a share of a field.

He did travel to New Orleans often in his younger days because that was a very major oil deal making city, more so than Dallas or Houston.

He was part of the small group of indie oil men who laid the foundation for Texas to go from and FDR loving Dem state to GOP state. This was in the 1960's. There were all Dems who knew that the price cap on oil and gas at the wellhead would make the US dependent. Dems wouldn't even meet with the but the GOP at last would meet with them. So they all switched to the GOP, all except GHWB who was already a lifelong Republican. That was how the Texas GOP was funded to grow the party there.

Doubt it, they're almost always Israel 1st even if they're American born and raised.

That IS unusual, but most Jews from my experience don't list it as something they need to tell you about. Christians often want converts to increase numbers. Jews have no interest in that. Numbers are set by matriarchal lineage and they aren't looking to add to their numbers.

Can you imagine how crazy it would be if "God's chosen people" were open for applications?

Well, you're connected to at least one of us. Any new ones last about 60 days and quit, I'm just the annoying a-hole that doesn't leave.

It's not unusual, we spent over a hundred years hiding it. We call them Crypto Jews. Not a big deal.

Right, this goes back to the debate of the protection of Jews. Is it race based, or is it a religion.

I've known a lot of Jews. They are very intelligent but they're cheap as hell. They're not good tippers and they buy clothes for their 7 year old that's 3 sizes too big so 'he can grow into them.'

So you don’t know Jesus?

Jesus was a Jew.
