Cheeseburger that used to be 99 cents is now $3.59. I was hungry, but not paying that for that burger. This is insanity. Oh and my power bill is astronomically higher now than it used to be. These Bidenomics commercials are gonna kill Kamala’s campaign. They are on every YouTube commercial break. shite is ridiculous. How people could vote for this dunce is baffling to me. And now she’s for a border wall lmao.

I was riding shotgun with a coworker the other day… he ordered two unsweet teas and a French fry and it was over $11. Wendy’s.

I laughed to keep from crying.

You have to use the apps now at fast food places to get decent prices

Shake Shack and In N Out (premium fast food IMO) are now cheaper than Wendy's and McDonalds unless you use the deals on the apps

Local sports bar last night after my daughter’s VB match. 4 people with app and a couple of drinks for my wife and I was $160 with tip.
We all got sandwiches/burgers.

When was that? Certainly that was part of some promotion and not apples to apples with whatever you just paid.

Astronomically? How much, apples to apples? Are you in Georgia? This says they're blaming it on the European boycott of nat gas.

I can't put my finger on why I don't get bombarded with political ads.

I don't even watch network or cable TV any more. I watch OAN on Roku for current events and the Dan Ball show, but other than that we just watch the YT if we're watching anything at all. I watch a SHITLOAD of political stuff, and channels like Hardcore Country, TWF, Shawn Ryan, etc.. I should be getting absolutely smashed with campaign ads but I only ever get the occasional ad from one local guy who's challenging an incumbent for a US House seat.

Could it be because I have never actually signed up for an account maybe? I'm not a tech guy and not too familiar with algorithms, but I always just sign in as "guest" and never actually create accounts on anything. Maybe someone here knows?

As an aside, in my youngest adult years I was a shift manager at Wendy's. It's one of the most efficient operations and businesses in fast food. Unfortunately, it has really gone downhill in most places in the 25 years since I worked there. The basic philosophy is still there, but the overall quality of the average fast food worker has absolutely gone to shite. Back then, we all knew we wouldn't work there forever, but just needed some experience under our belts before any better jobs would take a chance on us. Nowadays, they plan to work there forever right out of the gate and have no motivation to do any better. It's sad.

A couple of weeks ago, I had a Wendy’s coupon - buy one single with cheese, get one free. The guy asked me for $6 and change. I was certain he missed the coupon, and charged me for two. Nope. A single with tax is now north of $6.

Fast food is getting more expensive but BBQ has become ridiculously expensive.
