Especially on a Saturday with the judge on vacation.
And I’m a US citizen.
Oh and from here on out every case I file I will ask to do so with my initials only.

too much info to absorb all at once - will bookmark and come back when I have the time to fully digest all the insightful analysis.

Can you let the less informed among us (me) know what case this is refering to?
I had to monitor a three year SEC lawsuit so I know how slow these things are

Boasberg
quote:
Trump secretly signed a proclamation invoking the Alien Enemies Act on March 14, and immigration authorities quickly began organizing the flights. But five of the targets of Trump’s proclamation filed a lawsuit at 1 a.m. the next day, seeking emergency intervention to prevent their deportation. They claimed Trump had misidentified them as members of the gang, Tren de Aragua.
Boasberg described learning of the lawsuit at 7:30 a.m. — six hours after the suit was filed — and quickly ordering a halt to their deportations. He then scheduled a hearing that afternoon at 5 p.m. on whether to broaden his order to cover a much larger group.
The point is that this was not only blatant judge-shopping, but that the judge (Boasberg) was actively participating in it.

Such record efficiency from a government employee does seem odd.

Yeah, this doesn't looked rigged at all.

thanks for the insight - the original post was pretty lean on info.
Perhaps the '1am' should have been enough - but It certainly escaped my grasp.

E-filing now makes things much faster and easier in district courts.

Hundreds of J6 prisoners were held for years without getting a trial date or formal charges.
Where the frick was Boasberg for them?

Not how it works according to what federal judges have told me. They don’t instantly get notified that a motion has been filed.

You have no idea how the process works
I have mentioned your lack of intelligence in at least 5 threads - you really should just shut up and learn something
And the failure of congress to impeach him is a very telling sign on the deep state for both sides - he needs to be removed

DOGE doing work I suppose. I’m excited for the future efficiency of our beaurocracy.

In July of 1996, when R. Kelly and his thug security attacked the guy at Red's the afternoon of his show at the Cajun Dome, on a Saturday, and R. Kelly fled town, the local promoters filed suit on Saturday afternoon, the judge issued a sequestration writ, also on Saturday afternoon, and the lawyer for the plaintiffs and the sheriff went to the Cajun Dome and seized all of the equipment before it could be loaded on the trucks and taken out of town. R. Kelly had to post bond to get his tour equipment released.
It can be done.

How would someone know that President Trump was signing/had signed the AEA Proclamation and that they were on the list and we are really to believe those 5 guys to have a lawyer already on retainer
