There is a much simpler answer than the supernatural: She's just doing it for the money.

She has found an audience, and she is giving them what they want. All of her posts and strategies are geared toward firing up her audience and getting them to click, listen, like, respond, etc. And this includes people who disagree with her, and are hate-following her. Those clicks and responses count as well.

Of all the points to make, that is one of the dumbest. It was no longer a crime scene, they probably didn't want people flooding the campus to see the scene because that was already happening by idiots like Ian Carrol, and what they did after has zero bearing on anything other than people like you to point to it as part of a largeer conspiracy yet you can't fully articulate why it matters that they paved over it as leaving it would magically solve the mystery.
