Yes, of course you could. it's a coalition of tens of millions of people. The political world is mega-complex. There's a lot of factors to account for the differences. It's fine if you don't buy it.

I don’t know if I misinterpreted your point, but as a general matter the old washed up “grifters taking advantage of MAGAs” was from its first mention nothing more than hyperbolic playground name calling. And the common suspicion in such circumstances is that perhaps the person couldn’t come up with anything better.
I mean hell, truth be told, people around here probably too cheap to donate to anything anyway. Lol I kid. Maybe.

Grifting isn't exactly the right word. It's opportunistic media entrepreneurs profiteering off a market space where people are interested in narratives that counter MSM narratives and they don't monetize it via donations, but via the attention economy. They know their audiences aren't really looking for vetted facts, so they don't worry about fact-checking.
