I'll be the devil's advocate here and say that she's too stupid to know that members of congress have to file special paperwork to buy and sell stocks and the SEC monitors it, that's how lots of people got busted in early 2020. Just because they are in congress doesn't mean they are above the law for insider trading. If the laws on the books aren't being enforced enough, then call on the executive branch to enforce them. Saying you can't buy or sell stocks or any other investments while a congress member is extreme.
