He made a bet and honestly the odds were in his favor. The bet was that the Bidens got a second term and any further resistance from MAGA petered out, and then the Bidens got to take their winnnings of millions and ride off into the sunset. Joe would quietly fade while Hunter had big money at his disposal to start a couple angel funds or private equity funds to be run by hired help, while Hunter did exactly what he's always done - hookers and blow.

"Got what he deserves"......and this is just what we know about. Like many of his daddy's dealings, we probably "know"less than a third of what all exactly went on. But why doesn't he go to Uncle Jim for help? From what we've heard, Unc was just as corrupt as Daddy.
