How was he a liability?
And why are you so adamant about taking this author’s side?
I would assume you know nothing about any of these people.
ETA. Never mind. Sounds like you’ve got it all figured out. I’ve said my peace.

The guy was literally working with Muslims everyday. It would have been ludicrous for the WWE to keep him on. His problem is his wife, not anybody else.
"Hey Muslims, this guy you probably don't know exists has an obscure Muslim twitter troll wife who hates you and your religion!!!!!"
also
"Well they had to fire him, look at the tension between him and his Muslim counterparts."

doubt few would disagree with that premise but it isn't reality any longer.
I definitely agree that her brother or father shouldn’t pay for her sins. And I’d hope that folks won’t show up at the brewery causing trouble... but as you note, in today’s world, once an identity is public, so are your relationships. Even if O’Brien extends that respect - it’s the type of thing that shows up on Reddit near immediately.
There’s this sense of being entitled to access to full information about every situation. One of those weird spots where tech and access to information has moved faster than our ability to keep up with what it means to be good people in the new reality.

That chick has all sorts of crazy going on. I have no problem with O'Brien doxxing her as she made herself a target by getting out in the public eye in such a hard-core fashion. Going after her husband, father and brother though... that was nothing but smug spite.

I know your shtick around here is to be a contrarian troll but ok I'll humor you.
The article gives a run down of where she lives, the places she frequents, her husbands name, job and associates and even his type of vehicle. Her father's and brothers businesses. So it's fair game to go after her family?
See the idea isn't to out her individually. It's to inflict collateral damage on her loved ones to further influence her to stop what she's doing. Call her husbands employer and get him fired, out her family's businesses to be harassed (the addresses and phone numbers were posted in the HuffPo comments section).
As far as I'm concerned the little snowflake that wrote the article is no better than Mek. He thinks he's got some kind of moral superiority to do it but he doesn't.
He doesn't like what she stands for, thinks it's immoral, sees her and people like her as a blight on society, thinks her behavior should be stopped and stoops to controversial methods to stop her without regard to who he might impact. Sounds much like Mek's platform vs Islam doesn't it?

I just don’t understand the reasoning behind this. What purpose does it serve to identify twitter trolls?
You attack the livelihood and threaten the safety of your opponents. It shuts them up and lets anyone else who dares to disagree with you know that if they speak up then they too will be attacked.

That fricking loser's Twitter makes my blood boil. He represents absolutely everything to hate about leftists. God I fricking hate those pieces of human shite.

So why are we only outraged at the writer?
I couldn't care less about either one, and I'm just fine with their mutually assured destruction

Perhaps a mainstream outlet like HuffPost should be held to a higher standard than an anonymous twitter troll. and maybe shouldn't doxx a random Internet person and then share the person's details with their 11 million twitter followers.

Who is Ricky Vaughn? That was one of the big questions for anyone following far-right politics during the 2016 presidential election. The Twitter troll who took his name and avatar from Charlie Sheen’s character in “Major League” was everywhere on social media, an indefatigable circulator of edgy memes and rah-rah Donald Trump boosterism.
I’m right here. Does this WAPO pussy sky screamer want to lock heads?
Let’s roll

Perhaps Twitter trolls should be more careful with their personal info if they're too chickenshit to attach their names to their lies and idiotic bullshite
