Let's face it, I would be pissed too as a parent just for letting a trans play, but some of those girls were never going to make the team no matter what.
Colorado is a lost cause and it sucks because like California, it has some of the most beautiful landscape and topography in the country. Fricking liberals have ruined both places to live there.

If all the girls on that team refused to play, this would end. If all other teams refused to play that team, this would end. Women are the ones who could end this shite. Until they decide they want to, it's hard for me to have sympathy for them.

I’d be irritated regardless if my daughter didn’t make the team, and a trans athlete did.
That being said, only one of those girls was actually cut for the trans athlete. It’s not like if they didn’t make the team, all the girls who were cut are now on the team.
Parents being overly involved in youth sports today is a disaster. Not every kid is the best thing since sliced bread, but many parents will tell you that regardless of how good their kid actually is at the sport.

Why? Wouldn't those that made the team be happy that they have a "secret weapon" on their team (well not so secret I guess after the coverage)? He/She/They can win them some games. It would be like a HS football team getting a SEC player on the team.
