How significant is the news that someone in CA died of cv19 on feb 6th (community spread)

Considering they died on feb 6th, it likely means they got infected on like Jan 20-25th, maybe earlier.
So if it was spreading in ca in Jan and feb, why no overrun hospitals in early March?
This doesn’t add up at all

I am all for exposing the media with their own hypocrisy.

Just more evidence that our "public health officials" still have no idea how infectious or deadly this thing is. Good thing we destroyed our economy and the lives of 30 million people and rising

It means this really is a hoax. The China Virus has been here a long time. It is being politically weaponized.

I believe this person had not traveled out of the country. They caught it from someone who probably had. That very well pushes the date back into January when they were infected.

While China was lying about the virus, it was being spread worldwide.

It’s been in New Orleans since December and in some parts of the US since November

It’s a game changer that they’re ignoring.

It's extremely disappointing that the media has been ignoring this info and the early antibody test results. It just gives further confirmation to the fact that they aren't interested in giving hope to people.

OMB at all cost. Sad but true.

The reason this is significant is because the media is attempting to change the timeline of events.
This is their countermove against Trump for embarrassing them and solidifying his response to the virus with his timeline of events video last week.
This story is highly questionable. All of a sudden 2 or 3 patients who died 2 1/2 months ago have now tested positive for Corona posthumously this week. Why did it take this long to test and get results back from CDC. Rapid testing has been happening for several weeks.
Even though these were tissue samples that were tested, why so long for results?
I'm not buying it.

Here's the story that looks like BS.
So this is an attempt to blame Trump for not enough testing. These people didn't travel, didn't have symptoms, and didn't seek medical care? Orange Man Bad.

“It’s a much more dangerous virus than we initially recognized because we had limited testing,” Smith said.

“Testing criteria set by the CDC at the time restricted testing to only individuals with a known travel history and who sought medical care for specific symptoms,” the statement said.

That’s a lovely cologne you’re wearing. It smells like Desperation.

None of what you said changes the significance of the story.

You don't see a problem with someone (patient that died Feb 6) who had no symptoms and never went to the hospital, being diagnosed posthumously with Corona, which utterly changes the ENTIRE timeline of the virus in America? A dead patient who cannot dispute any characterizations made by the media, who is hell bent on blaming Trump for everything by the way, about their death?

She had symptoms. Why do you allow your beliefs to hide facts from yourself?
