I don’t even have tv anymore so it won’t be hard for me.

I didn’t watch at all last season because of the way the league robbed the Saints of a Super Bowl appearance. It wasn’t that hard, especially because of the season LSU had.

I fully intended to watch the Saints this season but I’m out for the foreseeable future now. LSU too if the shenanigans start in college.

Think about the time you waste watching pre-game, game, and post game shows up to 3 days a week. I guarantee you won’t be on your deathbed and think “I wish I watched more television.”

take your kids out and teach them how to fish/camp/hunt.

if you don't have kids, learn how to fish/camp/hunt.

if you know how to fish/camp/hunt, go fish/camp/hunt.

I want to but I don’t know if I have the self discipline to do it. The first time I’m bored on a Sunday it’ll be tough.

Haven’t really watched the NFL in probably 7-8 years. I don’t like the product they put on the field. It’s fricking boring, it’s bland, if you changed the uniforms of the teams you’d be hard pressed to notice a difference.

I’d watch a game or so a month, and I could watch every game of the season as I’m a cowboys fan and they’re on tv every week where I live. But now I’m not tuning in at all, frick them. Boring arse product and piece of shite, America hating losers on the field.

I had been planning to watch Atlanta this year because of the Todd Gurley pickup, but not now. I am done.

In, not posturing. I may not have actually done it until Brees happened.

I’ve been boycotting ever since the first round of kneeling.

I used to be in multiple fantasy leagues. I used to watch at least one game a weekend. I used to treat the Super Bowl like a national holiday. No more.

I’m actually very thankful that I don’t. I’ve been more aware of treating the Sabbath day with honor and spending more time in worship of God through Jesus Christ.

The NFL lost me and I’ve got no interest in what they are selling any longer.

I wont boycott football, just don't care to watch a social commentary with a little bit of sports in the background. I'll still bet on it, but the passion and stigma surrounding the actual NFL games is pretty dead to me these days.

Lots of other entertainment options. Pro sports isn't doing itself any favors by alienating so many people. They should have put their foot down and forced decency. Banned the bad apples. Kapdick should have been banned from all stadiums the first time he disrespected the flag.

Had the NFL also just said, we are not coming out until after opening ceremonies, then I might have been okay with that, but now, the flesh and bones have been exposed.

I believe this will be my fourth year without watching one second of the NFL. Don’t miss it at all. Sorry to say this will probably be me first year of turning off college football as well. I’ll watch until the first time I see some bullshite, which I’m afraid won’t be long.

Does not watching it because it's become fricking boring as hell count as a boycott? If so, I've been boycotting for a few years now. College football >>>>> the NFL.

It is funny, my kids and a lot of families I know and their kids are not in the least interested in college or pro sports. I wonder if video games and endless streaming choices are cutting into sports market.

How man will actually boycott the NFL?

Of all the people that upvoted, maybe 2 or 3.

I really hope people follow through and stick to their beliefs and values over a few hours of entertainment.

My beliefs and values are that I can do whatever the hell I want and even if someone or something I disagree with is involved I can still enjoy it while ignoring all the off the field BS. It’s a damn game FFS. Go on, getcha downvotes on.

When homosexuals planned to boycott Chick-fil-A, all the Trumps said it was stupid and a business’s views politically shouldn’t matter. Now people want to boycott the NFL for the same stupid reason.

If I wanna watch the Saints I will. I don’t care what their views are. The national anthem doesn’t belong in sports to begin with. Move on. Quit caring so much about everything and being so sensitive.

I am not boycotting per se. I just do not have any interest in wasting a whole day, and several evenings, watching what has now become only another extension of the political world. And as far the NBA, that's been gone ever since the players took control of the league. Now they are to replace their names on the backs of the jerseys with the name of a victim of police abuse? How long will it take for the tv announcers to start using those names over & over throughout the season? And subsequent follow up stories on the victims instead of discussing the game itself.

Living in Alabama, NFL has never been anywhere near the top of things for me to watch. I will just continue not watching or supporting it at all.

I am honestly nearing the point of not watching any football, I am down to just watching Auburn games now.
