So many sheep out there bowing lately.
They just don’t realize that this is going to turn into something where they can’t even have constructive conversation anymore. You give them an inch they take a mile

Crazy to think just two weeks ago people were so starved for sports they cleared their schedules to watch Tom Brady make a bunch of shitty shots (and one really awesome one) in a sport in which he is not even a pro.

Now we're right back to threatening to boycott a season that hasn't even started yet.

Like usual, I really won't care that much. Fundamentally, I'm a good person, and I call out people when I feel like they are going over a line. I work hard, pay taxes, and plan on having some kids and teaching them to be good people. I am hesitant with the police, vote for libertarian causes, and generally want people to live their own lives. I don't get mad, because it is beautiful to me that we live in a country where you can burn a flag or kneel during patriotic displays without being arrested and thrown in jail.

I never watch the anthem part anyway. I'm usually in the kitchen getting my stuff for the game or doing other stuff.

Exactly. Spoiler, most of Hollywood is liberal. Unless they are also just a garbage truck of a human being (see Penn, Sean) it's just not a big deal to me. Does this mean I'm going to turn on the Golden Globes or Oscars? No. Does this mean I'm going to be a huge fan and Facebook friend them? No. But I'm not going to stop doing things I like because people have dumbass opinions.

Quit Hollywood over a decade ago. It's mindless drivel.

That was asinine too, and I don't believe the charges have stuck with any of the businesses that did open.

Wait until you find out that the coach is woke and the new athletic director is good friends with James Carville, MOP, GumboPAC and people from Media Matters.
