This is where you lose your high ground in a debate. Comparing a sentiment to stay out of foreign conflicts with “having Putin’s Dick in your mouth”. It’s the sad premise of this entire thread.
Well that’s what you’re doing. Doing whatever it takes to make excuses for Russia. Idk what else you call that, other then having a hard on for Putin.

Bet you can’t pull up one post of me saying we should fight them over there.

And, the 2022 version of... if you don't support getting WMDs out of Iraq you aren't patriotic!
Once again, when have I said that we need to go into Ukraine?

Are you going to be upset when Ukraine wins, becomes a slave to the US and EU/NATO, and turns into an even more corrupt country than it was before?

I don’t think anyone sees you as left wing in here. It’s just difficult to have a debate like this when you start with such a flawed premise. There are no white hats in this conflict.

Define "Slave"
Because the anti-globalism crowd considers the US slaves to some parties

What's the "flawed premise"?

Speaking of flawed premise. I've never argued this

I get falsely accused of being left wing all the time so I could believe it

You think all the military and financial aid we've given them is free and without strings?
You think that when the war is over and the US almost singlehandedly funds their reconstruction that that money is going to be free?

Agree. frick VP but I don't want to send another penny in the effort to help Ukraine. I just don't understand that a man as intelligent as yourself doesn't get that.

How many of you will be upset if/when Ukraine thwarts Russia?
Biden said war was imminent, and Zelensky responded specifically to Biden saying that and said that wasn't so. And Poli talk went off about how wrong Biden was and was just trying to stir shite up, blah blah blah. And like 5 days later, Russia invaded Ukraine.
Then, PT shifted to it'll be over quick.
Then, PT shifted to stating it's not going quick, but it's going exactly to Russia's plan.
Not sure where they are at now, but the masses on PT have been wrong every step of the way here, but will yell and swear that they were spot on.

That anything short of unquestioned devotion to Ukraine and unlimited access to the US treasury is “having Putin’s Dick in your mouth”. It’s lazy, all or nothing political tripe.

You’re confusing me being ok with the US supporting Ukraine right now, which you guys don’t, with thinking we should get militarily involved. The only one escalating this to a level where we might have to get militarily involved, is Russia.

I’m not the strawman here. It’s you making strawman accusations. I think todays strawman of the day award goes to you Mr. Taxing Authority.

I mean shite we left a bunch of infrastructure for "free" in countries we actually invaded (Iraq/Afghanistan)
I'm sure our primary goal is to have Ukraine build itself up to move into the EU, which will create long-term benefits for both the US and our biggest close ally (EU).
I'll say it again. The system of international openness, trade, and transparency that has been built has been quite beneficial to the US. I don't know why this wouldn't apply if Ukraine were permitted to join it and shed the Russian policies of antiquity.

The US govt doesn't drastically change over short periods of time
So what has you hating it now all of a sudden?
